Co-Creating From the Ground Up

mozilla-summit

Generation Food celebrates experiments around the globe carried out by grassroots groups looking to transform food systems. Inspired by the work of these groups, we too are developing our campaign as an experiment. Through powerful storytelling, our goal is to inspire many more people to begin to grow their own experiments in social change.

But how to approach this monumental task, you ask? Like the changemakers whose stories we tell, we know we can’t do it alone; so we’ve enlisted the best and the brightest to help us shape strategies for how to make real impact with the stories we tell.

In the past year we convened three think tanks. We met with leaders and experts in the fields of technology and media, food activism and the environment, as well as labor, health and faith-based groups to assess their needs and create a strategy that helps spotlight the good work they are doing on the ground.

We came up with some amazing ideas, and we’re excited to roll them out in the coming months. We’re establishing partnerships and gearing up to amplify campaigns, share stories that inspire, and provide opportunities to get involved.
